Hotel Oslo City Centre
The hotel in Christiania Teater is situated in the heart of Oslo. Close to the city’s main street, Karl Johan, its central location is ideal for business trips and sightseeing. Just a stone’s throw from the city’s business and financial district, as well as many of Oslo’s major attractions. Built in 1918, designed by the architect Henry Coll, this listed building with its warm stone façade and original arched doorways was first used for business and later accommodated a theater and film theater. From 2006, the Christiania Theater reopened here for entertainments and our lobby area now shares the ground floor with the theatre.
The rooms on each floor have a separate colour scheme tailored to provide ambience for different moods. Themed feature Italian wallpaper enriches each of the rooms. High quality, tasteful furniture makes for a pleasant, comfortable stay. The rooms are well illuminated with large windows and halogen spotlights for after nightfall. Individual modern tiled bathrooms have designer fittings. All rooms have high-speed wireless internet access, flat screen television and safe. Guests can enjoy complementary tea and coffee.
